Website for tradesmen — electricians, plumbers, construction

The challenge: a client in panic, on a phone, at 10:40 PM

VOLTEKS is an electrician services company in Belgrade with emergency interventions. Work quality and response time weren't the problem — clients who call once become regulars. The problem was first contact: when power goes out in an apartment or a fuse blows at 10:40 PM, the client doesn't read "about us," doesn't check the portfolio, doesn't compare five companies — they want one thing: a phone number that works now and confirmation that a technician is on the way.

If the site hides that number in the footer and offers a generic contact form instead, the client moves to the next search result.

What we did

We built the site around one rule — a client under stress has to call in one tap. Everything else follows that logic.

24/7 emergency number highlighted at the top of the page

The phone number is permanently visible in the header, in a large font, clearly labeled "24/7 emergency service." On mobile it's clickable — one tap starts the call directly from the browser. No forms, no calendars, no package selection.

Transparent service pricing

The most common interventions (fuse replacement, fault diagnosis, three-phase meter connection) have a public starting price. This removes the fear of "an unknown cost after the repair" — the client knows the range and doesn't worry about being charged double.

Contact form as a fast alternative to calling

A client who can't call (meeting, loud environment, late at night) fills out a short form — address, short problem description, phone for a callback. The company gets a message with everything needed for a fast estimate.

Services overview with a clear split between emergency and planned work

The site clearly separates emergency interventions (no power, tripped fuse, burnt device) from planned work (new wiring, connection, service). Each category has its own flow — emergency goes to the phone, planned goes to the quote form.

Fully mobile-adapted design

Most calls come from phones, often under stress. The site is mobile-first — the phone number is always in sight, call buttons are large enough for a finger in a hurry, loading is under 1.5 seconds even on a slower mobile network.

The result

The design builds trust through a simple structure, without superfluous elements that slow down a client under stress. SEO optimized for local searches like "emergency electrician Belgrade" and "power outage technician."

Why it works

Electrician services are a niche where time to first contact decides the job. A client with a power outage isn't picking "the best technician" — they're picking the one who answers first. A site that lets them call in one tap wins the job competitors lose while the client scrolls through contact forms.
