Website design and SEO for pizzeria — menu and online ordering

Full guide for this niche
Website for restaurant, pizzeria or cocktail bar
The challenge: two minutes to decide
DOLCE Pizza is an authentic Italian pizzeria in Belgrade with a wood-fired oven at 480°C and a Neapolitan recipe. Food quality wasn't the problem — returning guests kept recommending them. The problem was the new guest at 10:30 PM, hungry, with three tabs open: DOLCE, Glovo, Wolt.
Whoever shows them the menu, pricing and delivery time in two minutes — wins the order. Their previous site didn't pass that test: slow, menu in a PDF, phone the only way to order.
What we did
We built the site around one rule — every click a guest has to make before ordering is a risk they'll switch to Wolt. Every second of load time over 1.5 is the same risk.
Menu as the first section, not a contact form
The first section below the hero image is the full menu with pricing — split into categories (Napoletana classics, specialties, vegan, drinks). No PDF, no "See the menu" button. The guest scrolls and picks.
Online ordering directly from the menu
Every pizza has an "Order" button that opens a mini-cart. The guest adds items without leaving the page. At the end: address, phone, payment — one pass, no account creation.
"30-minute delivery" highlighted in the hero
Above the menu, above everything else, in a large font: "Delivery in 30 minutes". It's one of the biggest differentiators in a crowded niche — and when it's shown clearly, it reduces abandonment toward Wolt.
Real food gallery, not stock photography
Professional photography of actual pizzas from the DOLCE kitchen — Margherita, Diavola, Quattro Stagioni with the wood-fired oven in the background. Hover zoom for detail. No stock images that kill the appetite.
The 480°C oven story as a brand differentiator
One section dedicated to the Neapolitan tradition — wood-fired oven at 480°C, 90-second baking time, authentic dough. This isn't filler marketing — it's why a guest picks DOLCE over a generic pizzeria.
The result
The site is fully adapted for mobile — most orders come from phones, whether the guest is on the move or at home. Load time under 1.5 seconds, online ordering with 30-minute delivery, custom design with warm tones (red, gold, terracotta) that match the brand.

Why it works
Hospitality is a niche where time to decision directly determines the number of orders. The site isn't a marketing brochure — the site is a salesperson working when the guest is hungry. If it doesn't show them the menu, price and delivery in two minutes — we lose them.

Frequently asked questions
What did the DOLCE Pizza site cost?
DOLCE was built in our BUSINESS package (from 900€) with additional components for online ordering and payment. For the specific cost of your pizzeria or restaurant, send us a message — we reply within minutes.
Do you build integrations with Glovo/Wolt?
Yes, but we often recommend the opposite — letting the site replace Glovo/Wolt for clients who arrive via Google search or word of mouth. You keep the full margin, the client gets a direct line to you. Glovo/Wolt stays for impulse buyers who don't know your brand.
How long does a pizzeria site take?
From one week onwards, depending on project complexity. You receive the exact timeline at the start of our collaboration — after the first consultation, once we define the scope of work, specific integrations and content preparation on your side.
Do you run a pizzeria or restaurant?
Reach out via WhatsApp — we'll review what you have now and suggest concrete changes. Free consultation, no obligation.
