The challenge: a guest picking a night out in under an hour

OBSIDIAN is a VIP nightclub in Belgrade with a signature program, resident DJs and a VIP table system. Atmosphere and performers weren't the problem — guests who come once return. The problem was first contact: VIP club guests don't pick a night out based on a marketing message — they pick based on who's performing that night, whether a table is available and what the minimum spend is.

If the site doesn't answer all three before the guest writes a WhatsApp message, they move to a club that gave the information immediately. A night-out decision isn't delayed — the guest is going tonight or they aren't.

What we did

We built the site around one rule — the guest has to see the program, table availability and pricing before writing the first message. Everything else follows that logic.

Upcoming event listings with dates and performers

The event calendar shows nights by day — the DJ or performer name, date, program start time, special offer (if any). In one view the guest knows what's happening at the club for the next two weeks and picks an evening that suits them.

Online VIP table reservation system

Table reservation is an online process without waiting for a reply — the guest picks an evening, table type (bar, lounge, VIP booth), party size, minimum spend and fills out their details. Confirmation arrives within minutes. No WhatsApp back-and-forth, no unknown slots, no double-bookings.

Nightly program by day

Beyond individual events, the site shows the regular weekly program — which nights feature which resident DJ, which are themed nights, when Happy Hour runs. A guest planning a night out a few days ahead has a clear map.

Atmosphere gallery with real photos

Photos of the club at full energy — DJ booth, bar in service, guests on the dance floor, dark atmosphere with neon details. No stock images from other clubs — everything is from OBSIDIAN. The guest feels the club's style in advance and knows whether it matches.

Parallax scrolling in the hero section

The hero section uses a parallax effect adding depth and drama — the club photo moves at a different speed than the text as the guest scrolls. This instantly signals the club is distinctive, not a generic venue. The effect calms below the hero so it doesn't disturb reading the program.

The result

A dark design with gold accents and neon details follows the brand's exclusive identity. Bespoke scroll animations add character without overdoing it. Loading under 1.5 seconds, SEO optimized for searches like "nightclub Belgrade" and "VIP table reservation."
